Found

"You are one of the missing." This is the mysterious letter recieved by 13 year old Jonah and his friend Chip. They both know they are adopted, but it never bothered them until the astranged letters. They then recieve a second letter saying, "Beware. They are coming back for you." This is only the beginning for Chip, Jonah, and Jonah's little sister Katherine. An airplane suddenly appears at the airport and all 3 of them are brough into a FBI investigation. Nobody knows where it came from or how it got there. All they know is something is definetley not right. To figure out what happens you have to read the book. It is by Margaret Peterson Haddix and it is a fantastic book. It is also part of a series. I personally have read all except for the newest one. Thanks for visiting and I will chat with you later!

The Ghost and The Goth

I have just finished the book, The Ghost and The Goth. This book is about a cheerleader, Alona Dare, who gets ran over by a bus full of band geeks. She is stuck in the "in-between" phase of death. She can see and hear all of friends and family, but they cannot see her. There is one particular person that she can interact with, Will Killian. Will is the average quiet, goth guy with an unsuprising gift inherited by his father. Obviously, he can't go around advertising that he can speak to ghost because everyone will think he is crazy. His mom and his therapist, Dr. Miller, think he is just a schitsophrenic. (If only they knew the truth.) As this book progresses, Alona and Will go through some very troubling times. There are several suprises in this book that will completely shock you. I highly recommend this book to everyone. It is one of the best books I have ever read! I am going to read either Divergent or The Queen of the Dead next. (The Queen of the Dead is the second book of The Ghost and The Goth series) Thanks for checking out my blog and chat with you next time!

Creepy Times

Now that we are only about 5 days away from Halloween, I figured I could talk about some scary books and movies. Even though for young children, Goosebumps are popular scary novels. I have read and own a few of these books and I find them very interesting. My favorite is Ghost Camp and the one about the chicken. I don't remember everything that happened in Ghost Camp so you will have to read that one on your own. In the one about the chicken, a girl and her friend  go to investigate a woman who the believe to be a witch. Some events happen and when she goes home she starts turning into a chicken. You will have to read the book to find out the rest:)

Some popular scary movies are:  Halloween (Micheal Meyers), Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream series, It, and several others. My personal favorites are the 1st three listed, but my absolute favorite is Scream. I just love the plot. If I am not able to blog with you before Halloween, have a creepy Halloween!

Catching Fire

I know it is a little late, but, the second novel of the Hunger Games series is also a great book. Catching Fire is the best book of all of the series. In the Hunger Games, Katniss and Peeta "fall in love" and win the Hunger Games. In Catching Fire, Katniss and Peeta are planning this great big wedding when it is time for another game. Instead of the original games it is time for the "special" games. This is where each district picks a male and female victor from the past to go and fight in the 75th year of the games. It starts out as a normal fight, but then there are some very shocking twists. This is absolutely one of the best books that I have ever read! I have did not want to put it down because it was so amazing. I highly, highly, HIGHLY, recommend this book. You have to read Hunger Games first though! I believe that Catching Fire is either about to or is currently being made into a movie. I cannot wait! It will be amazing! Chat with you next time!

Divergent

Next book on the list is Divergent. I have purchased this book, but haven't been able to read it due to The Ghost and The Goth. This book is about 16 year old Beatrice Prior who has to choose from 5 predetermianted factions to define the rest of her life. Which she finds out is a hard decision because she does not fit into any social group and sociaty is definetely not perfect. I  have heard from several people that this is an extremely good  book so I plan to read it ASAP! If you have read it please feel free to comment and that goes for all the post!

Twilight Series

Another hot series is the Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer. I have read all 4 of these novels and they were all fantastic. My personal favorite is the last, Breaking Dawn. I love the transition from human to vampire and the unexpected events. It all starts with Bella Swan who moves to live with her father in Forks. She meets Edward Cullen who she later discovers is a vampire and the fall madly in love. The series continues their tragic love story over the year. The movies have all been fantastic too, but the books are always better. I cannot wait until the 2nd part of Breaking Dawn comes out next month. From all the commercials that have been aired, i can predict that it will be epic. If you have not read the series or watched the movies I strongly suggest for you to do so. They are amazing.

Fifty Shade of Gray

I personally have not and cannot read this particular book, but Fifty Shades of Gray has been getting some rave reviews. There has been a lot of talk of this book and not all good things. It is a very descriptive book of inappropriate thing for children, so to speak. It is a very contreversial subject to several people. Fifty Shades of Gray will be turned into a movie sometime next year.

Aside from most popular books, I am currently reading The Ghost and The Goth. It is about a popular cheerleader who gets ran over by a bus of band folks. I find it funny just because I am in the band and the cheerleader dies:) Anyways, it is a great book so i highly recommend it to all of you visitors. It is a series and i believe the name of the next book is Queen Dead. So check those out and I will blog with you later.

The Hunger Games

Here lately, the rave has been about the book and movie of the Hunger Games. I personally thought the book was way better than the movie as far as details go.  Don't get me wrong, the movie was great too. My favorite book out the the series has to be Catching Fire. I am so excited for it to become a movie! The way it ties up everything that happens in Hunger Games is just so shocking. You would never expect that much of a ending. I would very much recommend the Hunger Game series

Overview

This blog basically stated the "hottest" (so to speak) books and movies currently. It doesn't neccessarily change every post so I might just decide to talk about the previous book or movie. Thanks for visiting and I will chat with you later!
